Tasting Note |
Intense and complex nose displaying nashi pear, lemon curd with a hint of musk, savoury notes and oak. The palate is full and rich with pear and citrus flavours, savoury backbone and cedar oak finish. The juicy acid gives a mineral edge to the wine which will ensure great cellaring over the next 5 to 8 years |

Halliday Wine Companion Whole-bunch pressed, fermented wild in aged French barriques and matured 6 months in same. A rich complexity immediately, with the scent of spiced apple, pear, spice and ginger snaps. Rolls out smooth across the tongue, with plenty of weight and flavour concentration. A thread of citrus and sweet grapefruit weaves its way through. Jeni Port - 3 August 2022 |
